Marc this is a continuation of the conversation we have been having over the past two weeks regarding my inability to embed images into text. Using WGC.Your last comment was to ask if I had used an image from the internet I responded by telling you I did not, and that I got it from my desk top and I ended by saying that I would try obtaining an image from Pexels and see if it worked and I would let you know what happened.
I did try your suggestion on Sunday but it didn't work the program crashed again and it wouldn't reload. I have to shut the program down and re open. I sent this info to you via this support platform. Tell me would this issue be resolved if I uninstalled the program and then re-installed i?. As a precaution and for my own peace of mind I carried out several virus and malware scans using my paid Malwarebytes and Spybot search and destroy and my system is automatically scanned in the early hours of the morning each day no abnormal activity has been detected, so I don't know what else I can do on my end to alleviate this problem. I am open to all suggestions in this regard.
You are using WGC. There is nothing to uninstall and reinstall. The program resides on the internet, not on your computer.
I thought you had said that you could embed an image in 1 text block and that the program only crashed when you tried to do a second? Is that still the case or is something else happening?
Lance that was the case initially. However the more I tried after rebooting each time then it would not let me complete the process I did mange to get the image into the letter several times and I did manage on a couple of occasions to position the image as I wanted it but then without warning the system just kicked me out.Having said all that I just heard from Marc this morning that he has found a bug in the system possibly due to a Chrome update that he is now working on and hopes to has the fix later today or sometime tomorrow. So I am living in hope that it worksCheers
Terry, I forget if you are on a MAC or PC. But, if a PC, have you tried another browser? I know the program was developed for Chrome, but I actually use Opera. It is a free browser and I am having no issues with it.
( knock on wood! )
Lance I have used Chrome only because Marc recommended it when I first stated purchasing. Coincidentally I do have opera on my system and do use it occasionally. I will try it with Opera and let you know Although as I mentioned previously Marc said he should have a fix soon!
I am on PC by the way!
