I have windows 10. When searching the program files on my computer, I can't find the program for The Creator to make it be the default opener for TLC files. what is the name as an exe file?

    I love using the Creator.

This is the location of the .exe that starts the desktop version:  C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creator 7.

You can't select a tlc file and have it open a template.  That is not like choosing .doc and having microsoft word open up.

Each template is created and stored in it's own folder, and inside each folder is a tlc file specific to that logo / creation.

If you select file/open template from the program menu you only navigate as far as the folder, and select that folder, you do not select the tlc file within that folder to open the template.

A template is made up of parts, the tlc file tells all the parts how to work together.  Unlike MS word, when you select a template to open, you open a bunch if individual files all at the same time.

Years ago, with anything before version 6.0, you did select the tlc file to open a template.

Bottom line: you have to select the templates from within the program, using file/open template, or simply choose it from your my templates directory to open that template.
