Throughout the day today in the middle of creating designs or trying to save designs the web creator keeps crashing getting an oh snap crash in Chrome. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
That's not good. I humbly apologies for that.
Were you importing any really huge graphics? Or, did you have a lot of browser tabs open?
it sounds like a memory issue. We haven't had that problem with others, but everybody is so different it's hard to nail down
If you could let me know what you were doing when it crashed, that would help

I was using a canvas of 10k x 10k. I was using the Text Graphics and trying to expand the existing Graphics for the "beer" text so that the top of the letters were the suds and the bottom was the beer. As I got to 900 in sizing to max, everytime it crashed. I tried it without any other browser windows open and it would still crash before reaching max size. I hope this makes sense what I was doing when it crashed. Additionally, when I was trying to add images to a 10k x 10k canvas after the first two it would crash. What Can I do to avoid the crash besides using a smaller canvas? Thanks for the response. Love the Webcreator!!
ah. I see. And and awesome catch too.I tested everything with the Web Graphics Creator before launching, but I never tried what you describe
(just never thought of this. Plus, we just increased the canvas to allow for 10k X 10k - just a week or so ago)
Curious, why are you needing such a huge canvas? Are you creating tShirts?
Try your experiment with 5k x 5k - see if that works better. I'll check on this as well
The only template set I now see effecting memory is the text effects set. When you import a pattern into the text, it actually duplicates the pattern in memory (so when you increase the size of the text, the pattern "grows" with the text)
This, apparently takes up ALL of the browser memory at 10k x 10k
So I'll take a look at the code
Let me know if 5k x 5k works on your end.
Again, great catch.
