    I lost all access to my previous work and now after I create a work. I can't save it. I think this all started when I downloaded a 30 DAY program you offered, thinking it was something for me to try. This may or may not be the problem.

    When I  tried to delete my previous Laughing Bird program ... and even after i re=downloaded your Creator 7 ... I don't see it in my Control Panel. Yet I have the Shortcuts and the program on my computer.

    HELP PLEASE.

    Here's what I just created and can not save. Once I try to save everything freezes. I mean everything. I have to close the site, reopen and start with a new blank to create another project.

    Marc,

    I just had a computer expert look at my Control Panel, registry and Administrator Files. Neither Laughing Bird or THE Laughing Bird can be found. I can't save on your platform and I can' delete it to redownload. Can your tech do anything?

    I actively use the Bird as you know, but can I build a demo and go back for changes...etc etc cte…

    HELP!

    Okay, let's get this figured out.

    First, do you have the very latest version of the software?

    then, let's figure out what you have in your "Documents > Laughingbird Documents > Logo Libraries folder on your computer

    YES I have the latest LB download and LB documents folder

    You had a 30 special offer that I downloaded and the trouble seem to start after that … I can't get rid of that either.

    SORRY MARC … NO CHANGE IN ACCESS OR SAVING … IT STILL IS NOT IN MY CONTROL PANEL SO I CAN'T DELETE THE CURRENT FILE SO I CAN DOWNLOAD FRESH... I'VE HAD TWO TECH'S TRY AND FIND IT AND REMOVE IT AND THEY CAN'T LOCATE IT ANYWHERE.  YOU HAVE ME CAPTIVE AND I AM SERIOUSLY CONCERNED.  CAN YOU OR YOUR PEOPLE TRYTO EXTRACT THE BAD SO I CAN DOWNLOAD A GOOD VERSION?

    Hi Pete.

    ah. Okay, we're going to do this the manual way.

    Follow these instructions:

    Go to your Documents folder on your computer and look for the "Laughingbird Documents" folder. (this is where your templates and  images are found for the software)

    Move this folder to your desktop (and rename it 'old_Laughingbird Documents')

    Next: Launch The Creator7 again. It will start fresh and it will create a NEW 'laughingbird documents' folder that will be empty.

    Step 3: visit your members portal and download The Creator7 bundle templates AND the template sets I've added for you (to hopefully make up for this crazy mess).

    Download them all and install them one by one.

    Do this, and let me know what happens.

    WORKED … I AM MISSING A LOT OF MY STUFF .. LIKE THE PEOPLE, AND OTHER PACK'S I HAD BEFORE. CAN I DRAG THEM FROM THE OLD INTO THE NEW? I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL. WHAT ABOUT MY PREVIOS WORK? CAN I DO THE SAME  LET ME KNOW ASAP.

    Hi Peter!

    Ah. great to hear. Glad you're back up and running.

    Now... the next steps.

    You CAN drag from the old Laughingbird Documents folder into the new.

    Do this one at a time.

    So take the people pack from the old Laughingbird Documents > Logo Libraries > People Pak 2

    and drag it into the same structure (documents > laughingbird documents > Logo libraries)

    launch the software and see if you can see the People pak 2 once again.

    Rinse and repeat

    Final step - move the entire logo elements folder from the old and replace the full logo librareis folder of the new (you can do this with the full folder, it won't break the software)

    I CAN'T DOWNLOAD THE DESIGN PACK. WHEN I CLICK ON THE BAR IT OPEN ANOTHER COPY OF THE SAME WINDOW. ALL THE OTHERS WORKED FINE.

    I found the problem causer. One of the designs in "My Templets" is corrupted and when I opened it it froze the whole system … Problem with the Problem .. I can't delete IT! I'll have to avoid it for right now. Also  I cn't download the $15 "DESIGN pack  Every time I try it just returns to the Same Download window with the other packs. Can you clear that up to let me download one of my original packs that were a part of my purchase.

    I just redid the whole download again an got my program back.
